compression termination for large wire

Does anyone know of a compression termination for large wire that will reduce the size of a wire for termination? For example I have a 4/0 Aluminum wire that I need to terminate at a 100a GE THQB CB

Both insuleater connectors and polaris will do what you want. Maybe you will need to add a splicebox so you do not exceed box fill in the panel, but that is another story

Thanks for the links. I'm actually looking for a reducer that would take my 4/0 stranded down to a solid pin the size of a 1/0 conductor

The only thing is that 4/0 reduced only gets you to 2/0.

Click on Lugs and splices. There are reducing butt splices that may help you.

You need at look at page 20 of Connectors from this pamplet.

Thanks for the links guys. I think I'll go with a reducinig butt splice. Looks like th cleanest, simplest way to do it.
