first off i know or at least thought i did that A transformer will not create an additional phase, but simply change voltages. So that being said if any of you have a min to check out this link and explain a little on is happening. Can you really do this? http://unique3phase.com/index.html

The picture shows capacitors along with the transformer. They are building static phase converters.

A transformer will not do what they are saying. When they 'modified' it, it became something more than a transformer. The fact that they either don't know what they're talking about or are trying to conceal what their 'modification' is would make me extremely wary of giving them money.

It's real, but not real rocket science. The phenomenon has been known for years, it's just a Static Phase Converter that is "tuned" to the autotransformer you connect it to so that it needs less capacitance. But interest dropped off because of the advent of less complicated (from a practical viewpoint) methods of attaining the same effect. The biggest drawback is that you have to get into the windings of the autotransformer to do it, something that is beyond what most people feel comfortable doing.

We installed a 3 phase on a Single phase system.
The connection was, as I remember, like the Stillman.
