I have a church that replaced its old wooden steeple with a new alum. one. It came with a #2 bare stranded pig tail cad welded to it. Is there any thing other than 250.106 I need to be aware of for bonding it?

Are you going to install down conductors and grounding?

I think you need to look to NFPA 780, the Lightning protection code and not the NEC for this application.

Yes, that is what I need info on. After looking at nfpa 780 it states that I need 2 down conductors that connect to 10ft g rods that then would be bonded to the elect. system grounds. Just need more info.
