A client called and said his home lights were flickering (more so when it rained). After witnessing the living room lights flicker, I pulled the cover to the service entrance panel and saw two of the breakers intermittently spark.
I replaced two of the breakers (badly pitted) and moved then to new unused post on the bus bar and applied Noalox? anti-Oxident compound.
Three day passed with no flickering lights but then it rained and his lights began to flicker, slightly.
The panel is a Challenger 125 amp lateral and the house is circa 1975 with CU wires.
A side from a complete R&R of the panel is here something easel that I should be doing?
