Article 518.4 (C) states that you can use pvc and ent in an assembly occupancy as long as it is in a wall that has a 15-minute finish rating. What constitutes a 15 minute finish rating? The walls are 1-hour fire rated. As I recall from years ago, you could not install pvc above the slab. When was this change made in the NEC?

1/2" drywall is a typical 15 minute rated finish.

would this also be truse for lets say a six unit, ,5 unit or 4 unit townhome. where the feeder to the units are stubed up thru the crawl space slab and then would run veritcial in free air space about 4 foot before going into the wall cavity
I do not think town homes are considerd assembly occupancy.
