The company i work for has some licensed electricians that completed the classroom part of 70e training ,what would the field training consist of for them to become a "qualified employee"?
It has gotten a little confusing first its 70e training and the next its osha approved training for their eeswp. Thanks for help with this again.

we are in NJ to, the way it works for our licensed electricians is that we do 70E class room and osha training, as for the field training we had that to get the license with the state, If they are not licensed then we have to field train them?

Bob thanks for the quick response. Are you saying that once they have classroon training they don't need field training if they have a nj electrical license? If so would that be in the osha site and would you know where in the site?

You are right about the licensed person, if licensed they figure you can distinguish live parts and the voltages that they are, the training is for only 70e class room and we also get cpr training, I think you can find this in article 110.6(d) of the 70e. Also remember to hold the license in NJ we have to take 24hr training and 10hr code update every 3 years. The company pays for this if our job says we must be licensed. So they get a copy of this training also.
