Not too hot at the termination?

For 75C rated terminations, a higher temperature rated conductor can be used, but the ampacity of the conductor must be based as if the conductor is rated 75C.

What size 200C (SRML) wire is required in order to end up with 50Amps and keep the termination temperature at 75C?

I don't understand the question. What is "SMRL," and are you suggesting there exists a conductor with an insulation system rated for 200C? Also, are you talking about a situation that requires derating a conductor, such as the ambient temperature being over 30C, or having more than three current-carrying conductors in the same raceway?

SRML is a high temperature wire (aka as type SA). See NEC 310.18.
This scenario is no more than (3) conductors based a a 40C ambient.

Assuming 0-2000V, 30?C ambient, and no more than 3 conductors in a raceway, you would need No. 8 copper to have 50A ampacity with a 75?C rating. It doesn't matter if the insulation is rated at 75?C or 200?C.
