Calculating FLA for small HP 480V/3P motors

Hi all,

sorry if this has been discussed before, but I'm trying to calc the FLA for a 1/15HP, 480V/3P motor. I know NEC article 430 discusses motors and 430.250 gives the FLA for motors down to 1/2HP, but how do I calc/determine the FLA for motors smaller than those? Is there a rule of thumb to follow or a specific calculation method? :-?

What application do you have that requires 480V with such a small pump? I would use the FLA for the smallest HP size in the NEC motor tables.

It's a water pollution control facility - the equipment was selected by our mechanical guys...we're just in charge of wiring it...thanks for the response! :)
