Went over to Granma's house for the elevation and big event but no big event so far. More like a tiny tide change. Good. The recent one in Samoa has people around here very much on edge.

Sounds like Ventura CA got it worse? Which wasn't much.
I heard the warning here for coastal counties and called a few people I know by the beach to make sure they knew. The western edge of SF ia only a few feet above sea level and has a large sand dune with "the great highway" on it - but if a tsunami tops that we stand to loose 6x30 blocks.
