Hey Folks,
I was trying to gather some info about an upcoming job, just from some photos of a site visit. Square D switchboard nameplate says 600V/347Y, is that a rating or what is actually supplied? I haven't run into that voltage before. Is it common?

Thanks in advance,
Charles

Just curious if it might just be the rating of the board, not the actual voltage supplied.
It seems like the nameplate is usually stamped with the voltage/configuration as the gear is ordered, no? I'm in NY, not too far from canada.

The stamp is the max rating of the panel. You can use it at a lower voltage, say 480/277y, but I believe that it must be marked as such. I have used 120/240 1 phase panels for 120/208 1 phase, marked them accordingly, and have not had a problem.
