Photos - Why panels need covers.

Came across this panel troubleshooting a dead circuit.

The Panel inside a fenced off area.

The reason for the fence. Reads "Danger, Waste Water!" The waste water comes from the plating "soups" inside the building. I couldn't get back far enough to get a picture of the troughs with the waste water.

Corrosion from the fumes, rain, sun, etc.

What a mess. I have a off topic question, what is the significance of the green handles on SQ D QO breakers? I have noticed them but never had a clue of why & SQ D is not that prevalent here.

That was an experimental model that never caught on. It means the breaker hasn't tripped yet.
