Does anyone know of a spreadsheet and/or program, free or for purchase, which will automatically size conduit and wire per NEC? I have tried creating one in excel and it is getting very cumbersome. The sheets/programs I have found on-line are either too simple (i.e. only v-drop or only wire size) or more complex than I need such as DAPPER/CAPTOR.
In-put variables should be:
1) Feeder Name
2) Load (amps or VA)
3) Voltage
4) Phase
5) Length of feeder
6) Max allowable Voltage drop
7) Copper or Aluminum (only if possible)
Out-puts should be:
1) Phase conductor size
2) Neutral size
3) Ground size
4) Conduit size
5) Calculated V-drop
The sheet would be able to be printed out in so that all feeders would be listed in one schedule. This would be used for estimating purposes only. If anyone knows of anything like this or similar to this or even sets of macros that could be entered into excel - recommendations would be appreciated.
