Hello; Have monorail system with 12 volt transformer. Installed magnetic LV dimmer to secondary side of transformer. Have 12 volts coming in but nothing going out of dimmer. All connections seem OK. When I put a standard toggle switch on it works fine. Sure could use some assistant.

Normally a LV dimmer goes on the line side of the transformer. What kind of dimmer are you using exactly?

Yes. .Is the transformer electronic or magnetic? If you can't tell hold the transformer at waist level and drop it on your toe- if it is magnetic it will hurt really bad, electronic- not so much.
I talked to Lutron tech support once and they recommended that the dimmer match the transformer type.
