Hello All,
I figured this question has been asked a million times. But thanks for your patience.

Here it is:

In a commercial 3 phase service that has 3 circuits on 3 separate phases sharing 1 neutral..... will 3 GFCIs function properly? OR will individual neutrals be required?

Thanks!
Ted

You will need an individual neutral for each GFCI after the GFCI device. Leading up to the first GFCI device you can share a neutral.

As Chris mentioned, the single neutral will funtion to supply the three GFCI receptacles, but anything connected to the load-side terminals of each GFCI must be run as individual 2-wire circuits.

Imaging each GFCI was a 2-pole switch. Each 2-wire circuit cannot depend on any other switch being closed to assure continuity of both conductors. Don't forget to pigtail the line-side neutrals.
