VFD Cable

The belden VFD cable comes in an overall non-metallic jacket. This cable gets run between the VFD and the motor. Is it legal to put this jacketed cable in a conduit as long as we don't exceed 40% fill?
Are there any VFD cables that have an MC jacket so we don't need conduit?

We put it in conduit all the time. You can take it up to 53% fill since it's treated as a single conductor. Take a look at Ch. 9 Tables, notes to tables #9.

Can't help you with the MC jacket though, we only buy the usual Belden type with the hard rubber covering.
