Brewery Calcs.

I am pricing out a small brewery operation and they want me to do some load calcs. How do you figure out power required for all the equipment (service size), especially if it is not going to be all used simultaneous?
 
Thats my issue, not a ton of experience doing normal load calcs on an industrial application. Is derating involved?

I can not say yes or no for derating. It depends on situation when is required and when it is not required. I am suggesting you read NEC-2008 artical-220 for demand factor and also you can find information about derating in NEC book. So, there are alot of things are exist you have to take in consideration.

Of course, you could always hire an engineer that already knows how to calculate your loads and provide you plans to install everything.:grin:
