ILC Apprentice II programming experience?

I have an Apprentice II lighting control panel with an expansion panel, outdoor photo sensor, 2 power Supplies and Data Repeaters and more than a dozen LightSync devices. You know this systems manual is only available in 156 pages on-line.

Fired up the system today after addressing the devices and I can't for the life of me see even an option in the control panel menu or instructions in the on-line manual to make the master recognize these other devices.

Little help please, save me from 'tech support torture'.

I found what I was looking for, not under programming, but under the pages for specific devices. But if anyone out there has any advice, feel free to share.
