495v

is 495v right? I'm at 495ish and 286 to ground. this is the furthest gear from the service like 700' I'm sure every thing is at lest 500 volt rated and no problems that I know of

But I was putting some reactors in and I was at 495 line side and 496 at the load side

witch leads too my second question is why I'm higher on the secondary?

it was shut down day (4 hr) so I got it on line and
will get better meters out Tue

Will Have to really check it out then.

Not unusual especially on a shut down day

In addition the secondary voltage will be higher also, I.e. 495/1.73= 286v

I'll check Tue Full Production with my better meter.

Soo how Am I Higher on the load side of the reactor? doesn't that add Resistance to the line?

Correct me if I'm wrong but your reactors won't drop the voltage unless there is a load running through them.

I checked voltage as I flipped Breakers then checked rotation/amps and took off. so I'll check voltage while running Tue.
