I have a control cabinet with pilot lites , pb, on the double doors with relays and control wiring along with about 10 5amp 250 volt fuses inside. From time to time a fuse will blow and a worker will replace the fuse. Now we don't want anyone entering the cabinets except the electricians. Is there some type of cb we can install in the doors on the push button stLye so the power is inside and out of site? We though of installing a 12 circuit breaker box outside but was told that there is more then one circuit between all the cb's.

Do you really want workers resetting a circuit breaker without determining why it tripped?

From OSHA
1910.334(b)(2), Reclosing circuits after protective device operation. After a circuit is de-energized by a circuit protective device, the circuit may not be manually reenergized until it has been determined that the equipment and circuit can be safely energized. The repetitive manual reclosing of circuit breakers or re-energizing circuits through replaced fuses is prohibited.

Years ago when I did some consulting work at MP they were heavy in military aircraft breakers. I suspect they still are.

In the early 60s Aiken Industries bought MP from Mr. Knapp. Howard Aiken was maybe the first person to fight for the development of digital computers, mid 1930s. His computer at Harvard was the first successful general purpose (programmable) digital computer. The architecture is classified as a Harvard or Aiken system in contrast to a von Neumann system.

i sooo agree with eric on this one. especially when yer dealing with expensive and probably important motors, its rare to trip a control circuit why they loaded so much?
