Oil tank question

I was wondering if they make a 480VAC in line, oil immersion heater, with a high temp. cut-off switch. The reason I am asking is because we installed a new heater and the operators did not fill the tank past the heater and it got hot and flashed off, so we need some kind of temperature cut-off switch. I was thinking a thermo-couple or maybe a high current switch. Thanks Doug

Often there is a thermowell built into the heater bundle that either already has a T/C or a T/C can be added there for connection to a hi limit shutoff.

If not when you order the replacement heater bundle it is easy to spec it in.
