Looking for help with a question about flexible equipment supply cords. We are constructing an operations room with computers to monitor ITE equipment located in another room. The users are asking to have the receptacles placed under the raised floor. The users will run their equipment supply cords or power strip cords under the raised floor. My understanding is Article 400.8 prohibits this, but is allowed under 645. Will this mean the room has to meet the requirements of Article 645 and also NFPA 75 if it is done this way? Or is there an exception allowing this elsewhere?

To be able to install flexible IT equipment supply cords under a raised floor the room must comply with all of Article 645.
