Remote 75 kva T/F, not near reliable struct steel, > 5' from water service.
Is it permissible to use the primary feeder's copper equipment grounding conductor inside the primary feeder conduit serving the T/F as (also) the grounding electrode conductor for grounding the T/F if the copper size complies with 250.66? Say a #4 Cu for a 75 KVA 208 delta/wye isolation T/F? Primary
feeder is 3 # 3/0 Cu.,-2" C.

Under the current code I would say that it would be permissible, provided that you comply with 250.64 specifically 250.64(E).

I agree. But for 2011, Proposal 5-259 was accepted in Committee that would add a new: "Section 250.108 Use of Equipment Grounding Conductors. An equipment grounding conductor shall not be used as a grounding electrode conductor."

Correct, that is why I said under the current code it would be permissible.;):)
