I got a raise a few years back for figuring this out. The boss said he would give anyone a raise who could. This does not use any new technolgy .
It started by a guy bringing it on a jobsite one day, I gues he would not show anyone how it was wired because he was going to try to sell it.

You have a box with 12/2 120V coming we will just 2 wire because the grounding wire is not used in problem

So a 2 wire 120 v source entering a box with 2 switches Another 12/2 leaves the box with the 2 switches to a incandesent light from that light another 12/2 goes to another light and you switch the lights sepratley.

So a Box with 2 switches has 120v enter and 1 12/2 to a light a 1 12/2 between that light and another light and you switch them seperatly one can be off both own both off does not matter

That's it? Can we add controls if we want?? or is that all we have to work with. Are these standard switches or are we free to use whatever it takes.

Jeff, that's two easy. You just need to add four diodes, two at the switches, and the other two at the bulbs.

Wire a diode in series with each switch, and wire the two switch/diode pairs in parallel, but with one diode reversed.

You also wire the lights in parallel, with one diode in series with each bulb, and again with one diode reversed.
