Just watched a crew replace a leaning power pole near my house. No amount of money could persuade me to do that live even in my wild and crazy youth--mostly crazy, not much wild!
 
That's why you chose the life of the nerd. :grin: We need you guys just as much as those macho nuts on the pole. :)
 
My friend the EE is amazed at some of the work I do, and I'm a small guy. (Well, my company is. :grin:)

That's why I enjoy the hell outta this profession. Generally speaking, there's a mutual respect between electrical (power) engineers and electricians, for what each brings to the party.
