commercial load calculations

How do I figure out a load calculation for a commercial unit with equipment that adds up to 150 amps? Do I use the same formula as residential?

Welcome to the forum, sections III and IV of article 220 will cover this for you. It's slightly different than residential because there are no 6/12 rules for commercial work. also 310.15 (b) (6) cannot be used
 
Also, I read the op a little wrong. Sections I and II can certainly be used also, but I for some reason thought he wanted optional method. MAybe not
