label mean I have to feed it with a 30 amp circuit when the supply is 3 phase?

The image is hard to read but it is from a 5000 watt 208 volt electric heater. It is marked that is can be used on single or 3 phase systems, but it only shows one current...the one for a single phase connection.

See if this helps.. Or go here for the PDF on the unit. Apparently the 5000 watt unit can be wired to 3,800 or 2500 watts while the 4000 watt unit can be wired 3000 or 2000 watts.
I assume it is a different wattage depending on single or three phase.

If you look at figure 12 in the PDF in the above posted link this is a open Y wired heater, so it doesn't matter whether wired single or 3 phase L-2 will always have the full current on it, in this case @ 5kw 24 amps while L-1 and L-3 will have 12 amps on each wired in 3-phase. in single phase L-1 is jumpered to L-3 with blue wire, so supply can go to either which will then have 24 amps on it, I think this is why they list the highest amprage for single or 3-phase.

Never even thought to look at the instructions!!!
Why even make the 3 phase option with this design? I don't see any advantage.
