Objectional current

I have a situation with a gen that is the main power source for a small area of office buildings. The gen is 3 phase with an external bond, and a 5 wire system from there out. There is a factory installed braided cable from the ground bar at the gen to the gen frame. Curently there is 14 to 22 amps varying on this braided cable. I have inspected this installation closely and it is a perfect installation. What should I do about the objectional current? The only thing I can think of is that this gen is possibly bonded internally and bonded externally. There is no other point throughout the distribution that has this situation. It is only at the source of power.

Perform zero sequence measurements to determine the source of this "ground" current. It is most likely neutral current flowing on the ground due to additional neutral to ground connections within this electrical distribution system.Good Luck.:)
