Fan shutdown.

I was wonder if there is a specific article/ articles and what code/codes that require exhaust fan to be shutdown on an alarm condition. I installed them in a large manufacturing facility on all exhaust fans, using r2m-frcme and mr201.
This is not HVAC just fans. Any assistance would be most helpful.

This issue is probably a fire code rule or building code not an NEC issue that I am aware of.
