We have several of the hand crank Meggers (actually this is a trade name) and the first time I used the Fluke I didn't trust it, it was too simple.
We used to leave the meggers in the shop as there was not enough to go in every truck. The 1507 is more than a megger, as it does, volts, ohms, it should be your first meter.
