I have 2 #2 ground conductors protected by a 1# RMC. the conduit runs from a panelboard to the exterior of the building. They are attached to a grounding grid below the ground. I have a threaded couplong with a squeeze connector used to choke the 2 conductors, the inspector told me this was not acceptable. any solutions? this was in New Jersey

With two conductors in the conduit, I am not sure there is a code compliant method of bonding the conductors to the conduit.

Welcome to the forum.:)

The inspector is correct, you must bond the GECs at both ends of the metal raceway. To do this you would need to use a fitting that is listed for grounding and bonding.

1 grounding bushing, 2 feed-through-type listed-for-grounding compression connectors of one's choosing (at least one must be dual feedthrough in design), and 1 bonding jumper.
