In the metal fabrication industry it is common to dual feed Bus runs from seperate switch gears in different sub-stations. As long as the bus is identified as being fed from 2 seperate locations it is ok. It is done in case 1 side fails, production can keep stamping those parts out without interruption. The repairs can be done later.
