When rigid conduit is used as a sleeve to run coax cable (for TV) what is required on the ends of the pipe? What article of NEC refers to it?

Nothing I don't believe unless the building code requires some stop if it runs between floors. Article 820 I presume.

Maybe the section on Rigid that says something along the lines of "conduit ends shall be deburred or otherwise protected to remove sharp edges and protrusions" or some such.

Plastic snap on bushings or if you dont have and just put a coupler. The idea is no sharp edges

Wouldn't the internal threads of the exposed half of the coupling kind of function like a cheese grater if you pulled the wire along them? They're pretty sharp. I'd use a threaded plastic bushing like one of these .
