main disconnect

if I an installing a new service 200 amps, single face, commercial lacation, the main disconnect after the meter socket, it should be fused? non fused? or should I use a disconnect with a main braker. by the way this is the first time I use this site. so any mistake plase bare with me. thannk you in advance for your replys, answers, and advises...

The 1st disconnect would normally be the service equipment and 230.91 requires the OCP to be integral with or adjacent to the disconnect so it is rarely a non-fuse switch. Fusible vs breaker is often a decision based on the need to address available fault currents.
