Art. 344.30 (B)(2) RMC conduit supports

Is the code specific as to whether a 3 piece coupling (ericson) is classified to meet the intent of the code for a threaded coupling and such supports to prevent transmission of stresses to termination where conduit is deflected between supports.
 
Clair, welcome to the forum! :)

I don't think you'll find it specifically in the NEC, but, in my opinion, an Erikson is certainly as rigid as a standard coupling, and should work equally well.
