Hello to everyone!!
Just a general question to see where I stand. On a hi leg delta service the hi leg is "C" phase (in CO) which reads 208 to ground and 240 amongst any other two phases. The other two are 120 to ground. My question is
1. Can you run single phase 240 loads off the hi leg and another phase so long as it doesn't need the neutral, as do newer ranges for example. And
2. My understanding is yes as long as the breaker is rated for 240, not 120/240. Am I understanding correctly?
Thanks to all!!
