If we have two building belong same owner, building #1 is listed as occupancy type I, building #2 is listed as occupancy type B, they are separated by a fire rated wall.

Can we have one service to feed both buildings? (i.e. one utility transfomer to feed building #1 main switchboard, and we will feed building #2 main switchboard from from building #1 switchboard). Thanks!

You might want to look at 230.72(C) in regard to the occupants' access to service equipment. Off hand, that is the only "stumbling block" that I know of.

Is the owner the tenant as well?
