2011 NEC and Adobe X

The other day I decided to upgrade my adobe reader to adobe version X. Well, low and behold I could open my 2011 NEC PDF once and then it would not open again. I had to download again and again. One time open and it wouldn't allow me access.

Finally the customer service at NFPA asked what version of abode I was using. She said it won't work with adobe X. Odd that it opens once and that's it.

Just a warning to you all.

Interesting that it is not reverse compatible.

I wonder if the reason why is that darn plug in.

Thanks for the heads up Dennis, it looks like I won't be upgrading to Adobe X anytime soon.

you're welcome Chris, You would think that it wouldn't be a problem-- wonder if adobe is working on a fix?

I just deleted X and installed 9.4.

I got a simple fix, get the NFPA to get rid of that !@#$%^& plug in.

I recently "upgraded" to Adobe X and found that it would not open a number of existng pdf files. "Downgraded" to 9.4 and all is well. So it's not NFPA, it's Adobe X.
