Box cover plates for mounting receptacles.

What is the term for a box and what is the term for the coverplates where the receptacle mounts on the box cover?

Are these available for GFCI outlets also?

I have some receptacles to install on columns in an industrial space, and I think these might be more rugged than the standard boxes.

Are you looking for something more than 4x4 boxes and raised covers?

You could run rigid and use FD boxes.

It looks like Steel City calls the covers I was looking for "surface covers".

But you have a good point. The conduit will be rigid anyway, so I might as well specify cast weatherproof boxes. That's the same as an FD box, right?
