communication wire

i am looking in section 800 on communication wiring, and i don't see anything that pertains to
communication wire, having to be in conduit, is this fair to say, thanks for your usual support

That is correct, there is no general requirement that all comunications cables be installed in a raceway.

Part V of Article 800 deals with installation of communications cables within buildings.
