208v outlets sharing the same source breaker - Violation of NEC?

I was brought up in the Data Center/Emergency Power category of the electrical world, and any 208v outlets we installed where always fed from the source PDU via a dedicated 2 pole breaker.

So, not sure if its just my experience is telling me its incorrect for 2 L6-20 outlets to share the same source breaker, or if it actually is incorrect for them to share the same breaker??

It would depend on what is being used at these outlets. The electrician on the job should be able to answer the question. I am assuming you are not the EC because of your profile.

Yes, we really need more info to answer this question. I can install many receptacles on one circuit if they are all designated for one piece of equipment. Of course there are other factor to involve.
