A little more information would help to answer your question.
Are you refering to Florida? If so, are you talking about a Registered License with a county or a Certified license with the ECLB? Are you applying to take the exam or submitting final documentation for the actual license?
In any case, be prepared for weeks and weeks, but more likely months. There are submittal deadlines to ensure your application is considered at the next board meeting which only occurs every other month. Then it takes weeks to process the decision of the board.
I know of at least one previous ECLB board member that assists individuals with ECLB license applications.
