Article 680.26(B)(2). Spas, Equipotential Bonding of Perimeter Surfaces.

Hello,

What is the best way to satisfy the language of Article 680.26(B)(2) Equipotential Bonding of Perimeter Surfaces for a Spa on A deck? I have done this successfully while the Pool was on the ground but never to a Spa on a deck.

There is no good answer for this. I have been told different things by different folks. If you go by the strict wording in the NEC then you need to lay the wire in the ground below the deck as described in the article. Silly huh....
