Ok if the labor rate and material price/labor is known is there a quick calculation to figure a unit price per foot.

I was doing the math it but it seemed way too long.

If you know the labor and material cost, and the footage then it is simple math. Not sure what you are asking.

Materials + Labor + markup etc divided by footage.

ok so if you had labor @ $80.00 an hour, .007M for tele/data cable & $350M for the cable. How would you figure it? THanks,

I'm still not clear on your numbers but you have to know how much cable you can install in an hour.

Ok so to get a per ft. unit price unclusive of labor/material....

.007x60=.42minutes. then I divide 60/.42= 142.8 then I divide $80/142 and get. . .56 which is the labor cost for a foot of the cable installed. .32 would be the material price per foot. So if I am correct .88 cents a foot unit price????
