DC Cable Insulation Testing

Does anyone have any information on Meggar (500V and 1000V) testing of new 1000V, 90C, PV Rated cables (short distances)?

I have tested AC MV cables in the past and have considered above 500Mohms as the standard of a good reading for new cables. Can the same standards be applied to DC rated conductors?

I dont see why not, there is no fundamental difference between the design and construction of AC or DC cables, and all common types are suitable for either system.

ANSI/NETA testing standards have all the specs and testing procedires.
