It is Memorial day, not Veterans day. There is no one to thank. Instead reflect and remember that freedom is not free at all, honor those (Military and civilian) that gave thier lives to protect our freedoms.
 
zog, formerly known as decoration day . Memorial day is a day to honor the those who died while in military service. Change with the help of veterans. I believe.
