The receptacle has to be GFCI protected not necessarily a GFCI receptacle.

Does not have to be GFCI if it is not 15 or 20 amp 125 volt. Good luck finding a typical condensate pump that is not this rating.

I had time to kill so I checked Graingers, they show 3 or 4 - 230 volt models, of course that does not mean they are in stock and as easy to get as the 25 120 volt models they have. :)

HVAC guy usually supplies condensate pump all we usually do is provide an outlet for it. It is easier and less hassle and likely cost less or about the same to just install the GFCI than to get them to install a 240 volt model.
