Steam table continuous load?

Will it ever run for 3 hours without cycling?

That's the key. I'm not sure that if the infinite switch is turned all the way up, that it ever reaches the temperature to shut down.

It's an existing install where they had the steam table and a few heat lamps tied together on a 2-pole 30. I was hired to replace all the breakers in the panel and I separated the two circuits. 12 thhn. Put them both on 20's then checked with my amp meter. The steam table is pulling 17-18 amps @ 240v.

I then scraped all the grease off the table's nameplate and saw where it's listed as a 4250w element. I'm not sure how it will hold up on a 20, and running another circuit to the table would be a mofo.

Did some searching and appears manufacturers call for a 30a plug on the 240v/4250w units so I guess they're a continuous load.
