Under carpet wiring systems

I am bidding on a job with an under carpet wiring system. Both power and data. I understand the precepts of this, but have never done one. Anything I need to know, or watch out for? Also, what do you use for labor units to bid?

Hubbell devices group had the old commercial ribbon installation method for power phone and data and they had a short installation / sales video
Good question on the type he is planning on using

I installed it a couple of times back in the 80's and I've never seen it used since so I wasn't even sure if it was still around.

We installed plenty of under carpet jobs in high rise office projects, it is an interesting install

This is a typical commercial under carpet system, it is designed to be used with carpet tiles not wall to wall commercial carpet.
