I do not think so; however, GFCI protection is required if the receptacle is within 6 feet of the sink. 210.8

I was assuming sink is not located in an area specified by 210.52

(C) Countertops. In kitchens, pantries, breakfast rooms,
dining rooms, and similar areas of dwelling units, receptacle
outlets for countertop spaces shall be installed in accordance
with 210.52(C)(1) through (C)(5).

Where is the wet bar? If it is not in the kitchen then, IMO, you do not have to use the kitchen counter rules. I would, however just for convenience, if possible. I want to not that the wall spacing of the outlets in the room must still be followed.

GFCI ?

I have wondered why all of the counter top receptacles do not require GFI protection. It seems to me one could be just as grounded on the stove as on the sink.
