Cold Galv Spray, I have used for many years and it works great. Shake it well before use!
Is that an "approved, electrically conductive compound"? Also how and when do you apply the Cold Galv. It is my opinon that the male threads that are screwed into the female fitting or coupling needs the protection as well as any exposed thread.
We use Thomas & Betts Kopr-Shield or Crouse Hinds STL. Both are expensive.

On a related note. When running PVC coated GRS. I keep cans of automotive brake cleaner on hand to clean the pipe threads and coating before applying the thread sealer or coating repair.
